About Me
I am a Sociology major and Africana studies minor who loves playing spades as much as I love sleeping. In my four years at Oberlin, I was on the track team, a member of OST, worked as a RA and VA, served as Junior Class President, and more. Yet, my greatest accomplishment was choosing some of the best people at Oberlin to become best friends/family with.

Favorite Place
Definitely A-House. I never lived in A-House but I was definitely there all the time. In A-House I felt comfortable and it was a space where I could really be myself with all my friends.
Favorite Class
Martin Luther King Jr and Malcolm X which I took my first year. It was the first class where I remember feeling enraged at the lies and misconceptions that I had been taught growing up regarding Black activist and activism. It was the first class where we focused in on Black scholars and intellectuals and where I learned about Black people and our struggles that went beyond slavery. It was an amazing class and really grew my passion to learn.

I would like to remix a famous quote by W.E.B. Du Bois for my senior quote: The honor, I assure you, was Oberlin's
Memorable Oberlin Moment
Honestly, the first Black History Month Fashion Show that happened my junior year was ICONIC! I loved watching my friends tear the runway up while sitting with other people that I loved!! It was amazing. I also loved every soul session, spade game night, etc as long as all of my homies were there.
