Yoooooo! Coming from a Moroccan High School and having never been taught in English before, I knew that Oberlin was not going to be easy. I was adapting to an environment that was so different, while I was trying to preserve my sense of identity. I was a computer science major and I loved every single part of it. While I learned a lot in class from my Professors, I learned most outside of class from my peers. I was part of the varsity Track and Field team and occasionally played soccer with the club team, I met some of the coolest and most interesting people. Oberlin was difficult, stressful, tiring, challenging, and even painful at times but I will always remember it as my second home.
