I started learning and researching on Oberlins campus before the official start of college as a STRONG scholar. Likely many here, I had intents of pursuing music initially, but gave up the endeavor of many years after hearing many inspirational lectures. Ive lived with many lovely roommates but Ive also lived with and discovered my messy self. Ive learned to write code and prose. Ive learned theorems and proofs. Ive TAed a 300 level language course as a first year. Ive interned and received awards. Ive published and traveled (literally) around the globe. But Ive also crashed and burned. Ive cried, grieved, and even angered some people. But Im comforted by the opportunity to share these lessons and experiences with those around. Ive cooked with the coop and created with friends. Ive shared and taught what things I can. Ive labored to share what was learned here. I am grateful and await the next chapter.
