About Me

Over all four years, I helped out with the Dead Hear Footsteps, WOBC's longest-running serial film-noir dramady radio show. There, I helped as a writer, voice actor, and sound effects person. I even headed it during my junior and senior years. I wrote for the Synapse for all four years with article topics like impostor syndrome and parasites. I also wrote for the Oberlin Review for two years, mostly writing reviews in the arts section. I worked in Government Documents for four years, mostly doing inventory and lurking on the fourth floor of Mudd. I was a Writing Associate in my junior and senior years, and I was one of the first Writing Associates at the Science Writing Table. In my final two years, I did EEG research in the Neuroscience department. When I wasn't doing homework, I would play Dungeons and Dragons with friends, go visit the Local for a bagel, or visit the Ginko Gallery kittens.

Favorite Place

I loved going to the Local early on Saturday mornings. It was calm, and I could just relax, do some work, and grab a bagel and an iced mocha.

Favorite Class

It's a tie between Literary Journalism and Cinematic Storytelling Workshop. Both classes allowed me to experiment with different genres, and I produced some of my best written work.

Clubs & Organizations

The Oberlin Review
The Synapse

Memorable Oberlin Moment

After the 2016 election, I remember how the campus was distraught. I ended up going around the campus and town, giving free hugs.
