About Me

At Oberlin, I majored in Latin American Studies and Gender, Sexuality, and Feminist Studies. My academic work focused on migration politics, specifically the process of seeking asylum from Central America. Through my coursework and personal interests, I have had the opportunity to explore important topics from so many different lenses. During the last four years, I was involved in student and department dance productions, the SITES program, the El Centro Volunteer Initiative, and Jewish life on campus. I have loved supporting my friends in theatre and conservatory productions, making crazy elaborate meals at KHC, and enjoying the beautiful Ohio sunsets. Oberlin taught me to love the process of learning, and to envision academia as a tool for justice.
