what i learned at oberlin: 1) never trust the administration 2) asian american is a political identity 3) lead with relationships, not urgency 4) social capital ruins everything 5) friends are the greatest teachers 6) you have to soak beans first 7) meetings should be prepared in advance 8) no structure doesnt equal no hierarchy 9) good politics doesnt mean good person 10) organizing is long term 11) friends mean more than anything 12) biking on flat ground is glorious 13 ) dancing = survival 14) music is better loud 15) you cannot write a 20 page paper in 2 days 16) you cant beat an ohio summer sunset love to: Students for Energy Justice, Third World Co-op, Asian American Alliance, CAS, Professor Perez, Matt and Pea-Jae, UAW, OBA, the arb, AAR, and all my sweet powerful and loving friends whove taught me everything i know lastly: power to unionized and non unionized workers fighting for their livelihoods against an administration that has never cared.
