About Me
My time at Oberlin has been just epic and fun mostly except a few stressful epochs wherein I felt massively overwhelmed by academics and my choice to involve myself in a lot on campus (a college cliche, don't I know). However, I would truly say my time here has been net positive. I adore the friends I've made, the academic work I have created, and appreciate the physical place of Oberlin more every day.
Study Abroad
Yep- I studied abroad my Spring semester of Junior year in Mexico with the Mexico Solidarity Network program.

Favorite Place
The bike path! It is the best place to watch the change of seasons take place. It is the best feeling in the world to be biking or running along the path with pals on a beautiful (sunny or snowy) day!
Favorite Class
The Sociology of Sexuality with Greggor Mattson. The conversations always were tangential to the readings but always in productive, interesting ways. I wrote one of my favorite papers ever for that class.

Notable Quote
"Please can somebody continue teaching an 80's aerobics exco after we're gone!? We'll give you all our choreography notes" - Joy and Julia Denlinger, spring 2020 exco dance teachers extraordinares
Memorable Oberlin Moment
Coming back to campus for commencement after being abroad all spring and hugging and seeing all my friends for the first time in what felt like forever. It was so overwhelming but I realized just how much I loved it here and how amazing my friends are.
Graduation Date
12/21/2019
Future Plans
I am doing a year long fellowship with a magazine called Sojourners in Washington DC starting in the fall, doing some editing and researching for them, but mostly working as an organizer on their racial justice campaign.
