About Me
Ive always considered myself very lucky to have attended Oberlin. Ill be forever grateful for my experience there, and for the life lessons I learned. By the end of my four years, I had finally grown to understood what our motto, "Learning and Labor," meant and felt that I had indeed fulfilled both parts of that credo.
Study Abroad
I did the Oberlin in Italy program the summer before my freshman year. Arezzo, 2016.
Campus Jobs
WOBCs "Making CONnections" Co-host
Favorite Place
The Local/Slow Train. We love a good caffeine break before practicing.
Favorite Class
Music Theory IV with Andrew Pau. He taught me how to really think about music. And, perhaps more importantly as a singer, how to think about the text.
Clubs & Organizations
Swing&Blues
WOBC: Oberlin College & Community Radio
Oberlin Arts & Sciences Orchestra
Notable Quote
"To play a wrong note is insignificant; to play without passion is inexcusable." -Beethoven
Memorable Oberlin Moment
When all the seniors sang the "Va, pensiero" chorus during the last studio class before quarantine.
Graduation Date
05/25/2020
Future Plans
I will attend Academy of Vocal Arts in the fall to continue my work with Bill Schuman, one of the truly great voice teachers of our time, whom I met at Music Academy of the West while a student at Oberlin.
