I'm a double-major in Politics and Russian & East European Studies, although I do regret taking Geology so late! I visited Oberlin because my mom said I should, and I ended up going because I wanted an adventure. One of the reasons I ended up loving Oberlin was because it pushed me to work harder and do things to help myself succeed. I am known in Fairkid Co-op for my love of vegenaise, my ability to eat an ungodly amount of food, and yelling at people about standing water and keeping the food organized. Besides Fairkid, I was also in Nothing But Treble for all four years, where I spent a lot of time making up awkward dances and lying on the floor. And singing! My proudest academic moment was probably when I wrote an entire final, start to finish, between 9pm and 11am while I had a cold and while watching the Royal Wedding.

The Fairkid Dry Foods Room, because I got to color code, and separate allergens and make reminders to clip open food bags, and any time I was stressed I could go and throw 50-pound rice bags around. I got way too into being Food Unpacker...

GEOL 120: Earth's Environments! I took this fall semester senior year, and it was really fun to get my hands dirty and explore something brand new. Professor Eveleth keeps the class fun and engaging, and I ran with a whole bunch of upperclassmen who didn't know what they were doing (like me!). Also, field trips!!

Nothing But Treble

Oberlin Student Cooperative Association

Getting a "graduation ceremony" from the Fairkid underclassmen! They got us crowns, made a pie and a cake, and rewrote Pomp and Circumstance with Fairkid-specific lyrics. It was also one senior's birthday, so we all helped blow out the candles and sang. And during the Pomp and Circumstance we all cried like babies.
