About Me
At Oberlin, I had the opportunity to participate in Oberlin Christian Fellowship over the course of my 4 years, which was one of the most influential parts of my life on campus. I came into Oberlin as a double degree student, but after my first semester I decided that I wanted to become a violist, eventually dropping my double degree at the end of my second year. Over my 4 years I was able to try new things and learn new skills, including playing the baroque viola in the Baroque Orchestra (for which Oberlin is unique and attracts highly talented players), sing in the early music choir Collegium, play in Chamber Music Intensives during my 1st, 2nd and 4th year Winter Terms (3rd year being the orchestra trip to Carnegie Hall), and work with music organizations in the community as a teacher and performer.
