About Me

During my time at Oberlin, I have had the opportunity to be involved in many wonderful things, from the Oberlin College Marching Band (We Suave) where I had the chance to re-form the Colorguard during my senior year, to being an admin for the Facebook Meme Page since its conception (yes, I have seen all the rejected memes). But as anyone who knows me knows, the most defining part of my Oberlin experience has been my time with the Geology Department. More than just my major, the Geo Department is what has made Oberlin feel like home for me. Ive had the ability to pursue gratifying academic research and present at conferences, yes, but beyond that I have been able to form lasting friendships and participate in the best community on campus (I swear I am not biased), and even facilitate that community as a major representative. I'll miss my swipe access to Carnegie, but its the people I'll miss most of all. Its been a good 4 (well, 3.75) years, Oberlin.

Notable Quote

"It'll be great! You'll see!" -Zeb Page, anytime and anywhere, always.

Memorable Oberlin Moment

While the real answer might entail hijinks Not Safe For Virtual Yearbook (NSFVY), a solid runner-up to most memorable moment is this past years Hales Late Nighter when members of the OCMB read a wikihow article and starting giving out palm readings, love advice, and telling fortunes with elementary school-style paper fortune tellers from the band room in Hales basement.

Graduation Date

05/25/2020

Future Plans

I'm planning to spend my post-graduate time working on preparing my Honors research for publication and applying to grad schools where I hope to pursue Igneous Petrology.
