About Me

I am honored to have gone to a school with so many wonderful people as Oberlin College and as so many allies, friends, and teachers in the Class of 2020. I came to Oberlin through early decision and now left Oberlin early, though I hope to return for the 2021 commencement and celebrate with you. I entered knowing exactly what I wanted to study (Environment! Food! Fiction!) and stuck to it across my four years. I could never predict the adventures I had during my Oberlin years, from the Pawpaw Festival in Athens, OH, to the DNC debates in Detroit to a lovely goat corral in Bayankhongor, Mongolia. Oberlin College helped solidify my understanding of who I want to be and how I want to get there. As I told so many people as we packed up and left this March, I have a feeling I'll run into them years from now in a ballroom. I so hope I do. Our Class of 2020 is going to go far. Be seeing you.

Memorable Oberlin Moment

During my first open mic in the Cat, I saw how many wildly talented people went to this school and their dramatic, varied talents. I felt more secure after that first open mic.
