It was back in two aught fourteen that I first wandered into a little town called "Oberlin," never suspecting that I would one day call it "gnome." Of course, I was trying to call it "home," but my tongue tripped up on me and, well, I guess I just stuck with it. I'm not quite sure what I got out of it, harping on and on with the same old pun, but I just couldn't bring myself to stop. I guess that's how I got my campus nickname, "That Guy Who Won't Shut Up About Gnomes." Yes, sir. I sure am glad I found this school.

I wintered in Palermo, Sicily my junior year. What a time that was.

Seeing everyone show up in support of the UAW workers was incredible. It only happened because of a moral travesty, of course, but seeing the whole campus show up as a community to fight for justice the way another school might show up for a homecoming game reminded me why I love this school.
