About Me
My name is Shangru Du, I come from Shandong, China. My major is Piano Performance at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music. I studied piano with Prof. Matti Raekallio and Prof. Stanislav Ioudenitch, both of them are very influential to me, and I learned a great deal from these two remarkable teachers. The last four years at Oberlin have shaped me into a better person and pianist, there were many unique opportunities and challenges which keep me growing. In addition, I am grateful that I met so many kindhearted and supportive friends and teachers here at Oberlin, everyone is extremely friendly and makes Oberlin feel like home. It is absolutely my honor to be a part of this wonderful and diverse community!
